We're Back!

We did it, SpringTAT 2007.
We completed Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado plus two days in Moab.
All I can say is it is one heck of a vacation!
Want to know more about our trip? Well here you go.

Now, it is time to start planning for SpringTAT 2008!
We have a lot to do and we need your help to plan for it.
We will be tackling Utah, Nevada, and finally Oregon and we want you to join us.
Come on in and help us plan an adventure of a life time!

2008 Logistics:

  1. Transport to starting point (Moab, UT) and back:
    1. Equipment.
    2. Riders.
  2. Support:
    1. Vehicle.
    2. Personnel either by phone or on site.
  3. Supplies.
  4. Nightly stops and reservations.

We have a lot to discuss and to investigate. So, please participate in the discussions. This should be another great event, as long as we use what we have learned from past events.

About Us:

We are a group of weekend adventure riders organizing and run different sections of Sam Correro's Trans-America Trail on street legal Dual-Sport Motorcycles.

Goals:

1. Have fun.
2. Meet new people.
3. Travel and see as much as possible in a week long adventure.
4. No phones, no pool, no pets and no job to deal with.

Logistics:

1. Each rider is responsible to obtain thier own copy of the maps/roll charts through Trans-America Trail or by contacting Sam Correro at sam@transamtrail.com. Sam has a paypal account and you can pay for your maps that way or by check.
2. Hotel Reservations are each riders responsibility.
3. Groups/Individuals should contact local merchants about parking for the starting points.
4. Each rider is responsibile for transportation back to the starting point, yet get signed in to the group and get with a group of riders who may be renting trucks/trailers to haul things back, if the return trip is too long by roads.

No one will be policing to see who has purchased maps. This is your responsibility.
Sam Correro has gone to great lengths to maintain the roll-charts and maps.
Please support his efforts. Without them there isn't a SpringTAT.
